David B. Snow, Jr.
David B. Snow, Jr. has served on the Ricia Care Board of Directors since 2014 and became chairman later that year. He is currently chairman and CEO of Cedar Gate Technologies, a company providing analytics and IT services for value-based care. Previously, he was chairman and CEO of Medco Health Solutions and has held board positions at Premise Health, CareCentrix, and Pitney Bowes. Mr. Snow’s background includes leadership roles at WellChoice and Oxford Health Plans. He holds a B.S. in economics from Bates College and a master’s in healthcare administration from Duke University.
Charles (Chuck) Divita, III
Appointed CEO of Ricia Care in June 2024, Charles Divita is recognized for his innovative leadership and financial expertise in healthcare. Before joining Ricia Care, he held senior roles at GuideWell, including Executive Vice President for Commercial Markets and Chief Financial Officer, where he led major business transformations and growth. Mr. Divita has also served as CFO and President/CEO at FPIC Insurance Group. He is active in the community and has served on several healthcare and nonprofit boards. He is a CPA and holds degrees in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University.
Eric Evans
Eric Evans joined the Ricia Care Board in 2023. He is CEO and director of Surgery Partners, with over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations and strategy, including leadership roles at Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence. Mr. Evans also serves on the boards of QuVa Pharma and the Nashville Healthcare Council. He holds a bachelor’s in industrial management from Purdue University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Sandra Fenwick
Sandra Fenwick has been a board member since 2020. She retired as CEO of Boston Children’s Hospital in 2021, where she led significant improvements in care and efficiency. Ms. Fenwick serves on several boards, including Harvard’s Wyss Institute and the Risk Management Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s from Simmons University and a master’s in public health from the University of Texas School of Public Health.
Catherine Jacobson
Catherine Jacobson joined the Ricia Care Board in 2020. She is the former president, CEO, and director of Froedtert Health and previously held executive roles at Rush University Medical Center. Ms. Jacobson is chair of Vizient and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and is active in several healthcare organizations. She is a graduate of Bradley University and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Thomas G. McKinley
Thomas McKinley has served on the board since 2009. With over 35 years of venture capital experience, he is a General Partner at Cardinal Partners, focusing on healthcare technology investments. He has been founding CEO and chairman of Prealize Health and has served on various academic and industry boards. Mr. McKinley holds degrees from Harvard, NYU Stern, and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Kenneth H. Paulus
Kenneth Paulus joined the board in 2017. He is the former president and CEO of Prime Therapeutics and Allina Health, and has held leadership roles at Atrius Health System and Partners Community Health Care. Mr. Paulus currently serves on the board of Breg, Inc. He holds a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in biology from Augustana College.
David L. Shedlarz
David Shedlarz has been a board member since 2016. He is the former vice chairman, executive vice president, and CFO of Pfizer, where he played a key role in the company’s growth. Mr. Shedlarz serves on the board of Pitney Bowes and previously on The Hershey Company’s board. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a B.S. in economics and mathematics from Oakland University.
Mark D. Smith, MD, MBA
Dr. Mark Smith joined the board in 2018. He is a professor of clinical medicine at UCSF and a nationally recognized expert in care delivery and health policy. Dr. Smith was the founding president and CEO of the California Health Care Foundation and has served on numerous boards, including Jazz Pharmaceuticals and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. He holds degrees from Harvard, UNC Chapel Hill, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
